This Privacy Policy explains how Velastra LLC handles information for the Phrase Ace app and related pages. For the terms governing use of the app, please see our Terms of Service.

2. What We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or precise location directly. However, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect certain information as described in Section 3 below.

Analytics & usage data (non-personal): To improve quality and understand which features are used, we rely on privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics provided by the app stores (for example, Apple App Store Analytics and/or Google Play Console statistics). Depending on your device/store settings, these may include:

• App version, device model, and operating system version
• Session counts, screens or features opened, basic performance metrics (e.g., crashes, if you opt in at the OS/store level)
• Coarse, aggregated region or language information (when available in store dashboards)

3. Advertising & Google AdMob

Phrase Ace displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and process certain information to display ads, including:

• Advertising ID: A unique, user-resettable identifier for advertising (e.g., Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, mobile network information
• Ad interaction data: Information about ads shown, viewed, or clicked
• IP address: Used to derive approximate location (country/city level) for ad targeting
• App usage: Information about your interaction with the app to help determine relevant ads

Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads:

• Personalized ads are based on your advertising ID and may use information about your interests and previous interactions
• Non-personalized ads are based solely on contextual information (like the content you're viewing) and general location

Google's use of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Third-party ad networks: AdMob may work with additional ad networks and partners. These partners may also collect information about your device and ad interactions. You can learn more about these partners through Google's advertising disclosures.

4. On-Device Data & Permissions

To function, the app stores limited data locally on your device, such as:

• Favorites, learning progress, and basic in-app settings
• Ad preferences and frequency capping data (managed by AdMob)

This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. The app may request standard permissions (e.g., storage, internet access) strictly to support the features you choose to use. You can change permissions in your device settings.

Note: Uninstalling the app or resetting your device may delete locally stored data. We cannot restore it because we never receive it.

5. Payments

Phrase Ace offers a single, lifetime unlock (one-time purchase) that removes ads. Payments are processed by:

• Apple App Store (iOS)
• Google Play Store (Android)

We do not receive your full payment details. Pricing, taxes, refunds, and receipts are governed by the app store's terms and policies.

6. Sharing, Service Providers & Retention

No selling of data. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties for their independent use.

Service providers & platforms: We work with the following third-party service providers:

• Google AdMob – For advertising services (collects advertising data as described in Section 3)
• Apple/Google – For app store analytics and purchase processing (aggregated, non-personal data)

These service providers operate under their own privacy policies and may process data globally to provide their services.

Retention: We keep analytics only as long as reasonably necessary for app performance and product insights. Local, on-device data (favorites, progress) remains on your device until you delete it. AdMob retains advertising data according to Google's retention policies.

7. Your Choices

• Opt out of personalized ads:
  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Toggle off "Personalized Ads"
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
  • Android: You can also reset your advertising ID in the same menu
• Remove ads entirely: Purchase the ad-free version via in-app purchase
• Permissions: Manage app permissions in your device settings
• Local data: Clear app data in device settings or uninstall the app to remove on-device data
• Limit analytics: You can limit store/OS analytics sharing (e.g., iOS "Share iPhone Analytics", Android "Usage & diagnostics") in your device settings

8. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AdMob is configured to serve only age-appropriate, non-personalized ads when the app detects usage that may be by children.

If you believe a child under 13 has used the app or provided personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

9. Security

We do not operate backend servers for this app. Local data is protected by your device's security features. Platform providers (Apple/Google) and AdMob secure data transmission and processing under their own security policies and industry-standard encryption practices.

10. International Users

Phrase Ace is offered by Velastra LLC in the United States. Advertising data collected by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers.

By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules. Google has certified compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
